  • Graduate Assistant FSU Special Collections & Archives (Aug. 2018-pres.)

         Duties include: 

                 conducting audio/video preservation survey

                 processing manuscript collections

                 curating and installing heritage exhibit 

                 developing digital collections (through FSU's Digital Library and the SSDN)

                 manning the service desk

                 participating in outreach

                 facilitating departmental instruction sessions (for academic courses)

                 serving rare materials to patrons

                 guiding patrons in proper handling and photographing procedures

       Position 1, paid assistantship, (Aug. 2017-present): Assisting Dr. Meg Jackson in musicology research. 

       Position 2, paid (June 2013-2016, mostly summers): Transcribing audio interviews for Dr. Leslie Gay of the University of Tennessee musicology department

       Position 3, volunteer (June 2013-Dec. 2014): Collecting observation data for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Music and Wellness Program (in collaboration with the University of Tennessee Cancer Institute).
